Question?? about my 83 GS

I just wanna know, I bought my car this week, I don't know a lot about FBs, I started it this morning, it start very good, but i can see a little smoke on the cat-back, no white fume, but just a little fume, i think it's normal but i wasn't sure, do this happen on every Fbs when the choke is on? The engine runs great, no problem, but probably that it's normal that my car smokes a little bit..

From my experience that is normal. I dont have any problem with my 85 Gs smoking on start up, except when I use the choke. smokes a little but not enough to worry about.
Good luck

Ok, :) on mine, it's just a little smoke, just with the choke on..

Thanks:)

You've nothing to worry about there. Hell, most of these cars smoke a helluva lot worse than that :D Mine smokes like a bitch at idle and low rpms (under load). I badly need to alter my fuel curve though, so mine isn't normal. Point being, smoke on startup is fine. :p:

As already stated, it's absolutely nothing to worry about. It's probably condensation or gas smoke anyways. If an FB *didn't* smoke a little bit on startup, that's when you start to worry lol.
