Q about 13b swap space

I'm in the process of my second gen 13b swap, and I'm going to be pulling the 12a out tomorrow. I was just thinking that since the 13b is 20mm (or is it 10mm?) longer, I am starting to think it might be a good idea to move the radiator back some... After all, there is a gigantic metal cover that just covers empty space... I just dont want to crunch my fan into the radiator.

SO people who have done this swap, what should I do?
Is this going to be a problem at all?

Remove the radiator befor doing the swap.

I allready did.... I'm just curious about when I go drop the 13b in, about the clearence between the engine fan and the radiator

As long as you got the right crossmember, whether GSL-SE, Mazdatrix, Racing Beat, or slotted 12A - you'll be fine.

13B's are right at home in FB's.

u mean the engine front mount right? I got the 13b one for puting a 13b in a 12a car from mazdatrix. I just had this horrible vision of haveing to modify somthing because after everything is together, the radiator wont fit because now the fan sticks out too far.
