Pulsation Dampner Leaking
 

I uderstand this is a pretty common problem. I called the dealer and they want $125. Do I have any other choises? or am I stuck buying the part from a dealer? I understand this is one part due to the risks invoing fire that I want to replace with a new part.

Just go and buy the crush washer if Mazda will sell that part to you. If not take the washer to your local auto part NAPA or eqal and find one eqal size there not anything special. And if you cant find one try fliping it over that just might fix it.
This is whats causing the leak unless you cracked the fuel rail, but I dought that. And as if you dint know already dont drive with a leaking fuel system!

The leak is where the screw is. This is common as the diaphram inside cracks. I was just hopeing I could find an aftermarket source.

If you want ill go get you one, I know where 2 are sittting in the junk yard right now. Id charge you $20.Each, This will cover my
Gass, Time, & Cost from the yard.

I decided to do the safe thing and buy a new dapner from the dealer, (Only $20 more then Mazdatrix) as I will be having the car painted in about a month and did not want to chance a fire.

I read the article sugessted by P.O.S. Racing. Thanks. I had read it before, but could not remember where.
