Powerslot rotors

so a little update -- i got my brake piston freed back up, and discovered that i overheated the rotor and cracked it. great reason to upgrade to powerslot rotors! what do you guys suggest for pads to run on this? i read a little about the hawk hp+ pads and it sounds like they dust a lot and are noisy. should i use semi-metallic instead of the oem pads? please give some input... also, any tips for taking off the rotors (more specifically the grease caps) would be appreciated.

grease caps are easy... regular screwdriver and light taps with a hammer around the seam.

take a ball-peen, machinist or a claw hammer and whack in-between the studs on the rotor if it doesn't want to come off. shake that rust free

hawk hp pads are noisy and dust alot, but are great for track/autox use. they are probably the best bang for your buck brake upgrade. if that is your bag, i would buy both and swap in the hp's when you go to the track. this setup works pretty well and will save the life of the costly hp's and you won't have the inconvience of squeeking and brake dust besides at a track event.
