I have an 85 se with 140,000 km. Thinking about either a rebuild & port or supercharge. Wanna hear from anyone who has done wither on a "6 port 13b SE". I have the money, just have to make the decision before spring, Thanks!

I would rebuild and port, and if you still have money then supercharge. Otherwise when done porting start saving. Good luck.
well. for the money and long run i would rebuild and port it. just like evryone else says cause of the mileage. then when you supercharge it you will be very happy. would suck to supercharge it then a few miles later find out that your engine isn't very durable anymore and have to rebuild anyways. so get the hard part out of the way first.
and suprcharging is a great way to go. very reliable and quick response.

Heh, the shift **** is very comfortable. It also sits further down on the shaft (like you wish it were your girlfriend LOL) and thus helps with the throw. Planning on a short shifter in the future, hope to find one in Canada so I don't get nailed with duty though.
i'v driven 3 so far. real kick in the pants. if you like the instant power they are for you. will not get as much out of them as you can a turbo. but for the application ease and the power you get. way worth it.

peri port turbo....
im thinking you'd need to boost pretty high to compensate for the overlap of most peripheral ports, most superchargers just don't cut it in that department. All though PP do like free flowing exhaust.
