polyurethane bushings....cheapest place?
 

Does anyone know the cheapest place to get polyurethane bushing for my 85 GSL? I want to replace whatever I can underneath as all the factory bushing are cracked and worn out.

What do I need beside front/rear sway bar bushings and front/rear control arm bushings?

For the front-end, I'd go with tension rod, sway bar endlinks, sway bar frame, and control arm bushings.

After reading numerous threads, I'm still not sure on which bushings to order. All front poly and all read oem rubber? Could someone provide a complete listing of what to get?

For my car, I was looking for enhanced longevity of the bushings while keeping the car as stock as possible. I wanted to enhance the drivability of the car for normal to slightly agressive street driving without performing any major modifications. To that end, I purchased the complete front set from Energy Suspension (strut rods, sway bar, endlinks, and control arms). For the rear, I purchased new Mazda control arms from Mazdatrix and Energy Suspesions endlinks, sway bar, and Watts link bushings. All of my poly bushings were purchased from suspension.com, and I highly reccomend them. Prices are great, shipping is fast, product is wonderful.

I have heard many a poster on this forum discuss how poly bushings in the control arms will increase the tendency for snap oversteer. I searched and searched and was unable to find rubber replacement bushings for those: It was either poly bushings or new control arms with rubber bushings. I'm hanging on to the old control arms, though, and I'm going to put some poly bushings in them at some point to see just how bad it really is.

If its so bad to put poly bushings on the rear control arms why do they make them i wonder.....
