Im not finished with the airdam. its just screwed on the sides. Yes its black, and my cars not.lol It was my first time with bondo. Theres a couple imperfections that you probably cant see on the pics. Tell me what yall think.
I got the airdam from a forum member here(O 16581 72452 5) and it had some minor cracks and stuff when i got it. Some of you know the story behind the airdam. |
I'm just gonna keep my thoughts to myself. But good job on the creative side.
|
Interesting. What is the purpose of that piece of metal that looks like industrial flooring or utility truck toolbox? Is it some sort of anti-theft device to protect your stereo? What is the gauge sitting on the dash, and where do you plan to install it?
|
yea its...interesting
|
Points for creativity, definately ;)
I am interested on the interior. Why diamond pattern metal? It looks, well, interesting. Not in a bad way. Very unique. I did notice it on your door too, btw. ;) |
everything was broken to pieces so i just covored it all with the metal
I will prolly have to sell my car some time. I need something newer. my college classes started back up today and i need something....well...... newer! |
Why would you want something newer? YOu mean, the reliability and cost of maintnence things? Oh, yeah, that ;)
Just get a little daily driver, something like a Civic, and keep up on the X. You'll regret selling it (even if it has a diamond pattern interior) |
why do you need something newer? What do college classes have to do with the year of your car. Do you need a 4 door? The 2 seater is the perfect college car. Go to a party, find a girl, no room for the "third wheel" tag along!
anyways I am offended as I am sure that alot of of the members here are. I don't judge cars by age but ability and condition. I am just surprised that someone with 1550 posts would say the car is to old. |
Wow- Sterling must've made a few mods to the carb. No return line and a new linkage set up. Nice.
How's it running for you? |
man it run great! i love it. at first i was having those stumble probs, but now its good.

After driving someone elses im always excited to get back in mine and take a drive to see how much better it is :D . It would be really hard to let it go if i had to. |
Besides, i didnt say it was old. I simply said i want something newer.
|
What brand of front air dam and side skirts have you got on that???
|
The sideskists are wingwest bought off of ebay. The front airdam, from what i remember was custom made for/by the previous owner.
|
Aluminum daimond plate?
|
Dude, what's with that carb? No return line? It intrigues me!
Do tell, do tell! Jon |
Here is where the saying "If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all" comes into play..........well......for me anyway.
Ill try to be nice. I do like the _____ and the ____. (you fill in the blanks) :) |
