i really hate how you read a thread and reply only to remember that there were two pages and soon realize that someone else already answered it like 15 posts ago so i look like a retard....but wait, i'm on my 7th and 8th rx-7. ahhh, i can feel the tard setting in.
There werent any holes to fill when I took the molding off. It is just held on with double stick tape. It was hard to remove though. I wouldnt do it unless you are going to have your car painted.
I wanted my car to be different than all of the other first gens. I like racing stripes and am glad they are on, it helps to brake up the hood. It is nice to have a car that is one of a kind.
My friend always tells me, he dosen't like the color and it should be painted black. Well the car is all ready blue. You paint it black, then you open up the doors and hood and it would be blue while the outside is black. That to me would look like ****.
My car is just the way I want it.

moer power to you if it is the way you like it. i think the blue looks great, and even though most donot like the stripes, i can see were you are coming at with breaking up the hood...
good job

very nice car. as everyone has already mentioned. the stripes, well, to each his own. I personally would have made them a little on the cream side, they are white right, so they matched up with the seats. Just my opinion.
I always wanted to get a white FB, and put green stripes that ran over the headlight all the way back to the the IMSA style wing, ala Gran Turismo 1 or 2, i forget. but if you ever got the FB to go full race prep in that game that was one of your paint options. The other was yellow over red.

This car is the shiznit. I like the silver stripes, and they are excellent with the colour...at least they aren't white. The rims are good too, I was thinking about getting those as well, but now I found better ones
Lowering is always good looking, never good for the car. Get adjustable suspension, so for pictures and when you park it, it could have a nice Wangan stance, and when you leave, you can put it back up to near ride hight, always good.
My mudflaps...he he...always scrape the ground and it scares the **** out of me. I can't wait to take those off.

Yeah..where DID those seats come from...oh yeah..me!
I was suprised when he said he wanted them, I couldn't imagine having 3rd gen tan seats in a blue FB at first. Looks nice though!

Nice. I especially love the decal on the window. Awesome interior, but is that carpet on the dash? Oh well, I'm drooling anyways!
