Ebay starts at 250 going on this week. Just ebay.

RX means rotary experimental. You do realize that right? Putting a v8 in it makes it a non rotary experimental. It's your car but I think it's kinda of dumb to do that. Won't handle for shit. You've been a member since July 2001 with over 400 posts, you must know how everyone feels about what you're doing, you should have just kept it too yourself. V8's are cool in Muscle cars (like 82 Trans Am's ;)) but it just doesn't go in an rx7. whatever.

V8's in RX-7's:piss:
I am Soooooo Dissapointed. |
Very true, but its a SHITLOAD cheaper :D

i guess you will have bragging rights at the drag strip but any track events and you will get walked on even by hondas.
way to nose heavy.:( |

Originally posted by V8kilr but any track events and you will get walked on even by hondas. way to nose heavy.:( Aluminum intake 28 lbs lighter , removal of some engine bay items, 10 lbs, relocation of battery. In the end maybe 50 lbs lighter in the front. I realize that it is positioned differently but it isnt going to be as much of a boat as everyone thinks, ask Kerry. The reason I did this was mainly speed. This car is gonna go like no body's business. For me to get a fast rotary would cost me alot more. I'm doing it right and I think half the fun will be the sleeper aspect of it. No regrets. |

tsk tsk, why didn't you just go buy a z car?
|
I'm not going to start arguements with anyone, I'm just doing a follow up on my other thread.
|
I think it would be cool to have a big V8 in a little car. But when I do it it will be in a 280Z. Those are pretty cool little cars. I wanna keep my 12A in my 7, but thats just me. Give the man a break, its not like he's abandoned us. Once a rotorhead always a rotorhead, right Winnipeg85gsl?
|
he's forsaken the sacred rotor bond... Into the flames of dispair i cast thee!!!
cheers' |

Ok, not to be rude or anything, but I just want to know why you plan on putting the engine on Ebay and waiting for it to sell when I have cash in hand ready to buy? I mean, you may get more money out of it in the end, but why not just sell it now and get the money for it a.s.a.p? Ive already basically lost interest now because you were so set on putting it on ebay even after I told you I would buy it (and told you I cant buy it off of ebay), but im just curious.
Ummm...Price maybe? That's all Im waiting for...Then I will probably buy it, I just need to know how much you want for it... Ok, well if the engine isint on Ebay yet, I have some money that I could by it from you with, but like I said before, I would need to have an idea of shipping costs. I will PM you with my info for that. If you could either let me know whats up by either PM, or posting here that would be great. You could also email me at tjay31584@hotmail.com. Thanks. ~T.J. |
