I'll make sure to give you a full out review on how they hold up. Should be fine though.

 

The SA waffles weigh around 12 lbs and the FB plus wheels are similiar in weight.

Good work on finding cheap wheels for a 5 lug upgrade. Can't beat that and painted they look good. Will you put the center covers on or leave em off?

 

I never got them with them ... well never really bothered looking for them because I know they probably have a big ford symbol in the center. I totaly thought that I read somewhere that the stock + wheels were 9lb. 12lb seems more reasonably though.

 

well finally got the tires out for a weight comparison. My 14x6 ASA rims with 185/60 R14 goodyear nordics wieght in at 33Lb each. The 15x7 Explorer rims with 195/50 R15 Toyo FZ4 weight in at 35lb. Like I said didn't expect much difference.

Just looked up some rubber weight, 185/60/14 rubber is about 17.4lb, 195/50/15 rubber is about 19.2lb

So really the ASA wheels weight in at about 15.6 lb, and the explorer 15.8lb. For an added 1" width to the rim I think thats pretty good. Would be nice if someone can weigh their stock wheels with rubber and maybe a konig rewind with rubber?

 

What front kit do you have? Pics?

 

My Brakes aren't installed yet. Still waiting on pads before I can start the swap. But its the Re-Speed kit. Lots of pictures on this forum of them

 

i just found out my jeep wheels are 5x4.5 as well, i'm going to be trying these on my seven. 15x7 aluminum from a 96 xj.

now just need some wheels around 205 50 15 from the junkyard

very clean, very 1st gen! i like it

 

respeed front BB kit, TII 5lug calipers. respeed race coilovers all around. tokico whites. respeed camber plates...
all on a car with a stock 13b. running stock exhaust.
rear kit is definitely next on the list... now to find a cheap 8" wheel.

I used the same paint on my Eclipse. It's good stuff. This was just painted, I was replacing the tires anyway so I just painted them.
