how much did the transplant cost , that sure looks pretty and clean....you have got to be proud.......

The whole Parts car (85 SE) cost $400.00
The parts body car is "extra" ugly, but the drivetrain and suspension where fine.

The previous owner didn't know much about Fuel Injection and kept
flooding it out. He only owned it 30 days and took a $300 loss in selling it to me..

That's the "old" ported engine in the back of the truck. It will get
new seals, a Partial Bridge (on the 5th and 6th ports only) and
slightly larger porting all around, Not to mention a nice T-04 with Haltech setup.

It just looks extra clean because I tool all the accessories and manifolds off of it before taking it to the shop today. since it was previously ported, end plates where painted.

If you look at the <FORUM PICTURES> - <-Click Here
The SE shown here is 100% Stock, and still has its engine, which will then be the "spare" engine after the Turbo engine is put in.

SWEET!

I see that your distributor came out.... *grumble* I might have to break another front cover to get mine out!
(broke one the first time it had to come out, and yes I thoroughly greased the dizzy when I put it back in!)

Broke the front cover? Damn everyone I have pulled out, you just gently pull. I guess I have been lucky :)

All it took was a small turn, and a little yank. Came out with No
problems.

I will try to post some pictures of when I open her up
to see how much (or little) is still needed to port.
