Opinion on side turn signals?

I'm trying to decide what I am going to do with the side turn signal lights. I've removed the side strips and I'm debating whether I should set the lights on the metal or to completely remove them and cover them over. I can't decide which would look best with the mazdatrix body kit I bought. Opinions?

i got some side marker lights for the fenders

no I don't need side marker lights I already have them but I've removed the black strips along the side of the body and I can't decide if I want to install the lights on the steel...ie...not on the plastic side strip anymore or if I should completely remove the lights all together and just patch over the lights holes and fill them in.

Remove them. The stock ones stick out too far with the rub strips removed.

no im saying i have some for my car, not some for sale, hahaha

i think it looks best to remove the lights if you remove the mouldings

Manntis 01-16-05 11:11 PM

I think it looks best to have the lights on rather than a big dent from someone in the right lane beside you assuming you, like they, are turning left when in fact you plan to go straight ahead.

is it legal to remove them?

I'm pretty sure it's not legal to remove if it came from the factory that way, e.g. inspections and such.

Dan_s_young 01-17-05 12:48 AM

ahem but i doubt anyone would notice =) ive looked through a bunch of my other car pictures and theres alot of cars without them... Like widebodys for instance...

Unsupa 01-17-05 12:48 AM

i would just indent them into the fenders. that's what i'm gonna do once i get another motor..
