only 16 hrs left!!

For those of you mechanics in the forum, this looks like a pretty good deal. It's just down the road from where I live. If I had any guess as to what the problem is ( and how serious) I would consider getting it myself. <just what I need, another project> Hope someone in here gets it...so it has a good home and all.

Ya. I saw that GSL-SE . It's pretty nice.

I'm currently looking into an engine rebuild on mine....and I still want to put a bid in on this one. If I already need to rebuild one...what's one more? yeah right

twinkletoes 10-25-06 01:02 AM

No, if you have the money, you should get it hogan. It looks like a pretty dang good body. I would do it if i were you.

Hogan 10-25-06 01:10 AM

Very tempting....I wanted to take a look at the engine for signs of oil leaks/oring failure. If I knew that was ok, I probably would try to win it. Better that I don't know! And by the way, Vegas is not that far to ship a car! You know you want too!!!! he he he

Wow, it has those expensive 4 way spark plugs!

rolfs_7 10-25-06 11:07 AM

o yeah dont those add like 5hp! lol nice car tho, i wish i could get it.

Hogan 10-25-06 07:05 PM

Damn! Tried to get it. I talked a friend of mine into going in on it with me as a project car. I was high bidder with 34 seconds left....then lost by $10. Damn, Damn!! It sold for $870. Oh well, I need the money for my current '84 SE anyway

twinkletoes 10-25-06 07:18 PM

No, i don't have space for my two 7s. Plus, i'm 15 years old. Anyways we have six cars so theres no space at all. Mine gets the garage tho, yes.

trochoid 10-25-06 07:34 PM

That was a decent price for an SE. Nice thing about the Denver metro area is they never used salt. The pea gravel they use breaks a lot of windshields though.

Hogan 10-26-06 09:58 AM

True Trochoid, my pathfinder has had a cracked windshield for about 2 years now. I don't replace it because it will just get cracked again....whats the point.

twinkletoes 10-26-06 02:22 PM

Haha, thats gotta suck. Oh ya, in my previous post I don't have two 7s. I meant no space for two 7s
