I took it out and then decided to do a rebuild. So my engine is in a billion bits. but took out the spinner pump thing and blocked it off. There is a similar thread in the archives but this one could probably do well in there too mods?

My first setup was similar to this one.

I replaced the left cover of the OMP with a larger (5mm) aluminium cover and 'injected' the oil from the side. I blocked the original inlet of the OMP with a small screw.

I used full synthetic 2 stroke oil and had no problem with a plastic tank, but I run this setup only for one season (1 year).

It worked well. But there was always the incertitude, does the OMP still work?

So after all I changed for premix on all my race cars and I’m very happy with that decision.
