OMP Removal 12a front cover 13b front plate
 

I have an 87 tII front Iron and a 12a front cover. I removed the OMP but I am wondering if the drive gear is removed on the 12a front cover if i will have the same issues with losing oil pressure that others have described due to an open oil gallery.. if so is there any way to block this once the front cover is installed??

Figured it out if anyone else needs to know.. Although I did not remove my OMP shaft and thought I had... However, all I would have needed yo do is remove block off plate slide shaft in from outside and reinstall the plate...

You don't ever have to remove the shaft. :) Best to leave it in there.
