That will work but way cheaper at McMaster.com:

Qty 5 inserts) M6x1.00 9.0 Long = $6.99 (part number 93914A230 ) <- should be long enough.
Qty 1 tap) M6x1.0 STI = $13.96 (part number 91709A202)

The only thing you do not get without the kit would be the insertion tool. You can use an old M6 screw for an insertion tool. Screw the insert onto the end of the screw and slowly turn it into the pre-tapped hole until the insert is just under the surface. Remove the screw and knock off the tang on the bottom of the insert.

This pic shows the tang and how it sits on the bottom of the insertion tool. The tool is nothing special. It just has an ground away area for the tang to sit in to.

Doesn't the RB Holley prep include an MOP fitting that is tapped and sealed into the float bowl(s) above the fuel level? Seem to remember seeing that on the one in their showroom.
