OMP adapter??? Has anyone used it???
Has anyone used the OMP adapter from Real World Solutions???? Any pics installed on an engine? Thinking of trying it out. :dunno: OMP Adapter

I can take a pic of mine. I just got my oil reservoir in the mail last night so it isnt installed all the way you could say. The instructions are pretty simple and even if there werent instructions with the kit, you could easily figure it out. You should order an OMP rebuild kit and 1 extra OMP gasket (from OMP to block) to go in between the OMP and the adapter.

I would like to to see install pics of this. It isnt too expensive either. I dont really understand where it would go. Right off the front cover? PICS!!

Do a search for surge tanks and catch cans, either will work for an oil tank.

This adapter mounts in between the OMP and the engine block. I bought an oil catch can from ebay. It seems big enough to hold about a half quart of 2 stroke. Maybe a bit more I havent installed it yet. It will be tomorrow's project.

what is the benefit to this over just premixing?

This way you can just fill up the reservoir and not worry about premixing. If you have ever had a moped, it makes sense. Fill up this part with gas, fill up this other part with 2 stroke - no more thinking beyond that.
