Back in 2015 I was working on getting a good exhaust setup for my 12A bridgeport, but needed some noise reduction. Options for rear muffler were limited because of placement of 15 gallon fuel cell which spans the full distance between rear unibody frame rails. So came up with the following custom config (photos attached) - then added a SuperTrapp tip for modifying noise level when needed. This all worked well until.....guts of supposedly stainless steel mesh rear resonator turned out to be fiberglass, which then disintegrated....and clogged the SuperTrapp tip - I chased this for months, engine would fire up then die, no power, thought I had blown seals, bad carb, bad ignition....until I removed the SuperTrapp tip and found what is shown in the last photo......if I had to do it over again, I probably would have spent the $ and used a Racingbeat full dual exhaust setup.....so lesson learned......though now that the packing is all gone the current setup works fine :-)

This is great example of why the RB setup is so worth the money spent. You never have to worry about it again.

Wow! That stuff came from the magnaflow presilencer?? I am currently using one on a custom stainless steel exhaust I got fabbed up last year in Dec.

I will only use RB exhaust products on my rotary. That or original parts. There is a reason for that and you've just found it. I've been there and done that as well. Learned a long time ago that the RB exhaust is worth the money spent.

As another example, I have a magnaflow muffler on the back of my car with an RB header and presilencer. It is loud and sounds great when on the gas and not so loud through town, but the freeway drone is absolutely horrible. I think the same thing. If I did it again, I would just spend the money on the RB muffler instead.

Have experienced both RB header to Magnaflow Stainless muffler and a full RB system. Night and day difference! Magnaflow was fun for a while but didn't hold up and the drone got old quick.

RB is a perfect balance of performance and sound. Enough sound over stock to get you going while fantastic design and great build quality.

I've been wanting switch to a racingbeat pre silencer to see if it quite down my engine. Ive have been driving daily my Semi PP for a year and I get into a lot of trouble hahaha
