which nikki carb rebuild kit??

so i finally decided to spend the time and the over load of stress of rebuilding the darn thing due to some convincing - you know who you are :) - but i ran into a problem there are two different kits at autozone one kit has like 8 or 10 different serial numbers in the descripition and the other kit only has like 4....now i have no clue which one to get and what all the serial numbers mean...so any help would be great
thanks

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...09_25208_5574_ This is the one I got and it is one that many people suggest. Part number on it is 96-555 name is gp sorensen and has everything that is needed plus some extras like check balls and so on.

anything for the accelerator pump check balls or the whole accelerator pump?
in that kit

I'm not sure if the autozone kit comes with the accel. pump, but here is the Atkins kit. It's a bit pricey in comparison I believe but you get EVERYTHING. Link below just FYI

You get the check balls for the accelerator pump and I am pretty sure you get the gasket around it but not a new accel pump itself.

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I'd ask here

Does anyone have experience with the BWD carb rebuild kit? Part# 10704B

Does the kit look complete? Or is it missing any important pieces?

One site glass window gasket is missing from the kit above (notice it's not pictured) but is usually included in the kit when you buy it. Those gaskets and parts look indentical to the hygrade kits you can find here and there. They fit 79-80 and 81-85 so it can be thought of as a universal kit.

The two base gaskets aren't used as they block off important holes in the spacer. Every rebuild kit includes them though. The stock hardened gaskets on the spacer must be left alone. They are bonded to it and are not removable. They don't leak so don't worry about them.

Thanks for the tips Jeff!
