New trans and motor mounts
Replaced both this weekend since I had my oil pan off. Engine and trans feel much firmer and it was not too bad a job. I was surprised how squashed trans mount was. Went with OEM mounts that came from PO. I raised the engine slightly and unbolted the pitman arm which gave me plenty of room to work for those thinking about removing oil pan.
Also a plug for Evaporate-Rust. This stuff works great. A little slow, but completely removed all the rust on all the nuts and bolts. Highly recommended. |
