Good nab, old buddy. 50 bucks ? Hell, I think my adapter was nearly that. Shweet !!

jays83gsl 01-10-05 10:48 PM

Looks nice, but I have to say, the S3's start to look like Lancers when the interior gets modded :(

WHY did they make the interior so. . . . . boring?!

BTW, that was NOT aimed at you, but at Mazda :D

1stgen4life 01-10-05 10:54 PM

How big is it? How does it feel? It looks nice, good find for $50.

Gregs 01-10-05 10:54 PM

i hate s2 interiors, s3 all the way!!

Gregs 01-10-05 10:55 PM

Its a 13" wheel and it feels awesome, nice padded leather.

1stgen4life 01-10-05 10:56 PM

Sweet!

jays83gsl 01-10-05 11:32 PM

But S3 look so boring! Like a Lancer, or an 80's Crown Vic!

You've made yours nice, though, and the wheel really completes the look (a clutch pedal would do wonders too :D )

Gregs 01-10-05 11:33 PM

lmao, im ditching those pedals, they have been on the car since i got it, somehow they survived a complete interior swap
lol
those pedals are the only original interior piece left since i got the car

Gonna go with some OEM style? Or some ricer Autozone style like I'll probably end up with (they have some nice black ones that don't look too ricey!)

ttt

1stgen4life 01-11-05 04:24 PM

How do those pedals mount up?

Gregs 01-11-05 04:25 PM

i dunno, i let u know when i buy em :)

Lee Lyons 01-11-05 04:30 PM

Been looking for a nice 13" wheel for my car...but the interior although not finished is accented with red and black and I've been having trouble finding a wheel in red/black that I like...just a question, I know a couple guys on the forum have momo wheels just wondering if they require a steering wheel adaptor?

nick1 01-11-05 04:31 PM

i was thinking about those pedals too...they're really cheap!

but yeah about the mounting, it would look kind of gay to have brackets that wrap around the original pedal like most aftermarket pedals do, cuz you'd see the brackets through those big holes!!!

i wonder if there's a way to install them without "seeing" the brackets

Interesting wheel. Haven't seen that one yet. Looks kinda like a Momo w/ the F1 horn button option. Put a Grant GT 3 spoke in my GSL & have a mahogany Dino in my wide body 7.

Gregs 01-11-05 09:43 PM

i do not like the centercap that came with this wheel
ive been looking for a replacement

Dan_s_young 01-11-05 10:36 PM

awesome wheel excellent deal for fifty bucks, I cant tell from your picture what did you put where your clock in the dash was? Nice interior though man soon i gotta get some white gauges and a new steering wheel...

Stevan 01-11-05 10:56 PM

Looks really nice! The rest of the the interior included.

As far as the pedals go, stock is the way to go (black), I don't see adding fake lightweight pedals to existing steel ones.

Gregs 01-11-05 11:48 PM

Anyone have any pedal pads for an 85 gsl-se for hella cheap, i wanna ditch these ricer ones, but there are no pads underneath and they are slippery as hell

why dont you just make your own adaptor, took me about half an hour and one used stock steering wheel, dont even need a welder, just a drill and a fabricators mind, oh and some bolts also, :)
