I've got an 84 GS. Second owner from 11k now has 174K after 21 years. Unfortunately I have to sell it. It's been gargarged and well maintained with no accidents. 100% stock. Any ideas on its worth.

One congradulations on joining the fourom. Two please post pics of the body, interior, and the engine bay. Also is it an auto or manuel? If it has A/C does it work? But from what your saying I woud say $1000-$2500 if the engine is solid and does not smoke more than it should and everything is good as can be expected from the age of this car.

It's a 5 speed and does have AC, which just needs to be serviced, which I'm doing. The engine is solid, I've religiously changed the oil every 3K and it doesn't smoke or us any oil between changes. Pics to follow soon probably on a link to a web site. I'm not the best with computers.

I think the engine is made to burn oil.

When you drive it.. and let it coast.. does it smoke? Does it pass a smog test? I don't belive you can get more that $1500 for car with that many miles.. unless the engine has been recently rebuilt. Rust will also cut your worth, areas to check would be the bottom of the doors, the area just behide the doors.. where the tires are and also underneath.

I am not all knowing and knowledgeable but I like to express my honest opinion.
