new clutch woes
 

i will make the story short...
ive fitted a new h/d clutch (everything including new hydrulics) and a lightened flywheel.

Now the clutch wont disengage at all.

the hydrulics are fully bled and are working 100% fine, the clutch pedal feels great and i can see the slave cylinder moving the clutch fork about a inch (which seams the std amount).
The clutch disc was aligned right and there are no noises from the pilot bearing which is new also..


is it posible that the clutch fork is bent a little and not moving the pressure plate springs enough?


any thoughts or sugestions would be great..

i found my haynes manual ( it was with my car mag collection) and in the fault dianosis section it has the following.

Clutch drag, ie, Failure to disengage so that gears cannot be meshed.

The clutch friction plate plate may be jammed on the splines.
Engage top gear, apply the parking brake, depress the clutch pedal and crank the engine: this may free the clutch plate. If the friction plate is badly jammed the engine will not turn.

this could be the problem as the gearbox didnt exactly fall in to place when we put it back in.

im gonna give this a go tomorow( i'll try anything), i would do it now but the slave cylinder is unbolted from the gearbox and its too dark (and cold) to but it back on...
