needing advice on 1st gen suspension

Have a 79 w/13b6port full racing beat exhaust full dellorto side draft induction and upgraded dist. It runs quite well. I need advise on break and suspension upgrades. Anyone own a tricked out SA? How about aerodynamic upgrades? Anyone know anything about that? This is my first Mazda and its very old for a tuner. A link or japanese shop I could contact would be great. Any advice at all would be great. A reply of anykind?

Try www.re-speed.com . They sell nice coilover kits and t2 brake upgrade kits. I have front and rear coilovers from them, as well as a few other products, and they are all very nice quality.

There are a couple places out there like Re-Speed, Racing Beat, Atkins Rotary that specialize in Rx7 and rotary engines that are great places to buy parts.

As far as Japanese shops..... ERC Rotary has first gen parts and I've seen RE Amemiya have a hand in a couple first gens also but they are more known for 2nd and 3rd gen Rx7's.

Aerodynamic upgrades.... :icon_no2: .... what are you looking for exactly? Body kits? If so you're out of luck without modifications.

Be careful with that Sa you'll have a hard time finding parts if you mess it up.

Yea can't thrash on it to hard I know parts are hard to find for these body. I have a wicked nose piece for it, I was hoping for a better wing maybe a rear diffuser panel. I can build a front splitter a full under tray. I know you have to fab most things on these also.
I know I'm new here and new to mazdas, but I have been driving rwd for close to 26 years. Used to be into classic american iron, then modern fox body fords. Then I got my first import, a 89 integra I was hooked on the gas mileage vs performance. I've since gotten 3 CRX's, an S13 240, and my RX7. So I like the old classics you see. Problem is no one around here knows anything about mazdas. You say wankle they look at like your speaking greek. Thanks for the advice.

Japanese shops are a little thin, its a REALLY old car to them. Anniversary Racing Factory is another shop with SA/FB stuff.

Dude, you're in Georgia. There are more rotorheads down there than just about anywhere.

I did racing beat springs and tekiko shocks and racing beat sway bars, just a daily driver so i did not need to go crazy, handle good for the price of parts. see the mods in my sig.
