need some help here.
 

ok guys im heading out to the jy in a few minutes here, well ive got to wait for my bro to get outta bed so he can help me bang shtuff up, and i need some info. how hard are the control arms going to be to get off.....
ok well to let you know i let a buddy borrow my car, who had an 85 gs at one point so i figured he knew what he was doing. well he proved that theory wrong when he came back and i could see from down the road that the front passenger side wheel was bent inwards. goin around a corner he accidentally dropped the clutch in 2nd and lost it, curb ate my car for lunch. well not the wheel itself but the control arm is bent to hell and the bolt on the tension rod was sheered off. yippy.... so now i need a new control arm, tension rod, alignment, wheel, makin him get me tires, because after all it was my birthday. hell of a present huh?
what im askin is whats gonna be the easiest way to get that stuff off? i dont have a gear puller so i cant get it all off the spindle, or i should just remove the entire unit including the spindle etc just to be safe? i cant find my factory manual but my haynes says to use a gear puller. a little help of any kind would be appreciated.

well the problem is that he is a buddy of mine. the money isnt an issue as far as the parts goes, but i dont want to have to take it to a shop and have him get raped. i can tackle this myself without jackin up both of our insurance rates. im thinkin now it'd be failry easy to just replace everything as a unit, leaving the control arm attached to the spindle and everything else. the only thing id keep from my car would be the tokico and spring, the steering rod(i think thats what its called), and the brakes. anyone out there?

How do you "accidentally" drop the clutch?

i dunno how he did it, im just hoping it was accidental because droppin the clutch in 2nd around a corner is usually a bad idea.
note to self, dont let people drive my car.....
any comments on how i should go about fixing this, jy was closed by the time we could go, so ive got time to think about my options.
