Need some advice

Well..my last mechanic screwed me. They were dumb asses. I take my car to this shop that works on nothing but RX-7's. What a difference. He even knew what OCTANE GAS I WAS RUNNING just by the rotor and distributor cap.... To make a long story short...the last year ive been replacing everything on the carb but the carb and the intake itself. Guess what? The carb and intake is bad..not all the other parts..lol. SO..i got a shiny new ACV and 1/2 of the rest of my carb..and I did'nt need it. My carb is so fucked that he can't tune it. He gets it running fine in the shop..then we go out and after the first stop light its fucked again. Basicly he says its toast. He told me for $1000 he can order a (I think webber) carb and manifold. He said once i get the part come down on saturday and he would teach me how to put it on .. no charge :D So here is my question. SInce I kinda only got $500 ... would anybody interested in lots of yummy carb parts with less than 1,000 miles on them? I got a nice new shiny ACV! Also have like a new shutter valve and a butch of other shit. He told me he could still get the thing to pass NC emissions with the new carb..plus HE does emissions testing...so..well...you get it :) Well..think I can get anything for any of my carb parts?

Well, its good that hes figured out what was up with your stuff, buf Im in the process of throwing all my shit like that out...So unfortunatly I dont know if there would be much demand for parts like that...Sorry.
