Need Help With Paul Yaw Carb

I just installed a Paul Yaw Carb on my stock port 12A but it seems to be flooding the engine. I turned the fuel pressure down to 3psi but it still seems to be flooding the engine. Back in the day did these carbs come with instructions on how to tune them in? Any help would be much appreciated. Trying not to reinstall my factory Nikki back on the car. Still searching for any information..............

Check the sight glasses and verify fuel is halfway up. Try turning your fuel pressure down to 2.5psi. Also keep in mind that a lot of gauges can be pretty far off at those low pressures. Are you running an open exhaust? The jetting may be too rich for your setup.

I am running a racing full exhaust to include headers and will turn the fuel pressure down and see if that helps. Should I turn the adjustment on the carb all the way in too?

If it's one of Yaw's carbs, it needs 1.5 to 1.75 psi. There is a low pressure Holley regulator that we used, or you could change the spring out with a rebuild kit. It also needs a return line.
