Turbo is great, but since you are not made of money, think about the gas prices. Premium VS Regular, then ask yourself this... How often are you going to be boosting? Turbo sucks your MPG down, PLUS the price of prem these days.

That is something to consider especially since turbo blue over here buy me (stock car fuel 104 octane) is almost 8 dollars a gallon lol.

I have thought about running a mix of turbo blue and regular 94 octane because you never can really trust what come out of the pump can you. But you can tell when you got 104 octane when you dump it on the ground light it on fire and it burns white not blue :P

What you're asking for isn't very difficult to achieve. If you will be satisfied with this power level for the forseeable future, the route I'd take would be a late FC NA motor -- '89 or '90. Those engines had 160HP stock. With a free flow exhaust you'll be at your 170HP goal with a relatively torquey, fuel efficient, reliable package. Be sure to get the ECU, too. I think you could do this for less than $2K, depending on the quality of your donor car.

If i where you i would jump all over that but.....youre still not saveing on gas with that either. I dont know what there mpg is but it cant be much better than the turbo!!! i could be wrong!
