Need a backseat...

I need help looking for the hardwear for a '85 back seat. I got the back seat from a junkyard, but they lost the hardwear for it.
I was wondering if anyone has a extra set or is willing to sell the hardwear to me. I want to keep my 7 on the road, but have a baby now and need the back seat.
Thank you for any help.

You might have a hard time finding it. From what i hear backseats are pretty rare.

If you don't find the 'right' hardware, think about other cars that have a fold down rear seat. 2ed gens, 240sx's.
what pieces of hardware ?? latch, seat belts, Did the car come with a rear seat stock ? converting ?

I like the idea of a folding rear seat, even if it doesn't do much , as far as seating goes.

i got a backseat for my SA on ebay... second set i've seen on there a for almost two years... and luckily, they fit. didn't need any hardware, but it bolted right up to the support braces the SA's are famous for. that, and i just modified the storage compartment panels, and they fit right up. no extra parts needed

IIRC for the stock rear seat there are two sets of brackets, one for the top and one for the bottom of the seatback. There are also longer interior side trim pieces, covers for the front seatbelt rollers, and rear wheel arch vinyl covers (I think).

You might have better luck posting this in other forums like mazdarotaryclub.com or AusRotary.com

hey if you're worried about set belts and don't have them go all out and put harnesses instead. I've seen it done

All I need is the mounting hardwear to install the seat to the car. I think I have the seatbelts. I was told that the other hardwear won't fit the first gen seat.
