Hey! Looks like you did some pretty sweet addons to your car.

I am curious about your battery relocation though, I am going to need to relocate my battery for intercooler piping. I am wondering if you just bought a relocation kit or if you peiced together parts to make it work (if so im interested in the length of wires you used) and so you have to relay wires from the alternator all the way back and same with the fusebox?

Thanks!

Dang, not to shabby. really digging the headlights. Did you notice any advantoges to relocating the battery to the right storage bin? All in all, looks pretty sweet.

I used a amp kit that I bought at wallmart for 25 bucks it comes with 4gauge wire and all the connecters. but I had to buy a breaker block (from best buys) so if anything happens to the hot wire I can just reset it. if you put a fuse ( 150 amp) and it blows you could be stuck on the side of the road...now if I park my car for a long time I can just turn off the breaker and the batt wont die. To tie the batt down I used a brakit tie down I bought from pepboys and drilled to small holes in the floor and tighten it up...

I have two amps in the left bin so I had to put the batt in the right bin

Nice batt job, looks identical to mine, even the tie down :)
I would of used larger wire though. where did you run it thru and what about the ground?
Nice looking ride!

ya its funny isn't it...we live in canada...their in canada...but their prices are in american dollars...thats the biggest kick in the balls especially if you live here...I bought the bolt adaptors, hood scoop, and triangular strut bar...it seemed like it took forever to get them here...and when they did arrive the bolt adaptors didn't come...I figured they got stolen or something...anyway the customer service I would have to say was pretty good I got an immediate response...and the adaptors arrived in a day and a half...just goes to show you how fast they could get it here if they wanted to...

riceburner1r2001 02-22-06 03:40 AM

man i always wonder why it takes them so long to deliver it

Paradox 02-22-06 04:03 AM

After reading some threads in the Good Guy/Bad Guy board, I'd have to say you were pretty lucky...

Jose Feliciano 02-22-06 02:12 PM

yup you were a lucky one

lx_machado 02-22-06 02:42 PM

who makes the alarm remote start pager you have? it looks cool

Rx Seven 02-22-06 05:00 PM

I like how the head light look on your car but have you ever thought about painting the inside trim pieces of the headlight the same color as your car so they blend in a litte more?

riceburner1r2001 02-22-06 05:54 PM

its easier when u live close to them and bother the fuck out of them everyday :balls:

I'm assuming this in reference to CP Racing...you oughtta see if you can't make some money as a paid agent/representative for the folks who are posting in GG/BG about getting bent by that crew...looks like opportunity knocking to me...;)

As an asides...that looks like a full-size Optima in there. Was that just because you already had it? Has anyone thought about the smaller "Sport Compact" Optima since we're not talking about cranking a high compression V8 here? For me, I'm going to have the front main Optima Red and I'm using that interior "bin" spot for a stereo amps-only Optima.

Jose Feliciano 02-25-06 02:45 PM

I love that optima red top no problems with it

TiViD 02-25-06 04:59 PM

Looks nice. Good Job, I have a red top too, they are great batteries. I do have to say though that those flames on the side of the car are ugly. I am willing to offer you money to take them off. It would make your car look way better IMO. I will say that those headlights look pretty good. Alot better thatn some of the other similar headlight mods i have seen. Good JOb!:)
