My Rendition on the "RX-7" emblem...

I did these on my computer the other night when I was bored. Let me know what you think. I also have versions that arent filled, just black outlines if anyone is interested.

PS - The title of the thread was supposed to be "My rendition OF the "RX-7" emblems"

The '7' needs a bit of tweaking, but both look good :)

WanKeL FD RX-7 12-14-02 12:03 PM

Keaponlaffen 12-14-02 12:03 PM

Keaponlaffen 12-14-02 12:03 PM

Tj, if you hung out on the mazspeed forums, you'd have seen this puppy a few months back :D

Oh yeah - it's also in the tutorial *cough* follow the sig *cough*

pratch 12-14-02 12:05 PM

Oh yeah - looks nice too :D

I have mine in eps files as vector art (scalable however high you want) so if you decide you want me to print a 3'x8' poster for you... :D

Mine are vector graphis as well. Well, not the ones I posted, but the originals :). I did them in Flash 5 for another project im working on just for that reason :).

~T.J.

RotorMotorDriver 12-14-02 12:09 PM

Also, thanks for the compliments guys :). As I mentioned earlier, I did them in Flash for another project (im building an entire website for my car in flash) Im working on, some of you may remember the Miata and my RX-7 I posted a while back with the buttons and stuff?? Anyway, I can do anything you might want, so long as I have a picture for reference, just as long as its not too complicated :). I.E. - your own car, different badges, whatever.

MIKE-P-28 12-14-02 12:10 PM

You got too much time on your hands, but looks good :D

pratch 12-14-02 12:12 PM

Flash? I understand Flash is good for vector animations, but for the creation of vector files? Wow, bolder man than I! I stick to Adobe Illustrator for my vector needs, but if Flash works for you - more power to ya. ;)

Manntis 12-14-02 12:14 PM

wish you'd posted this a few days ago though. I needed an 'r' for a logo.

So far this is what I've come up with:

http://www.rotorhead.ca/shots/logo.jpg

BTW the car is a line art version of Pamela from a photo I took of her :)

RotorMotorDriver 12-14-02 12:23 PM

Looks good Manntis :). If you want some help, Id be willing to try :).

~T.J.

EDIT: Feel free to take whatever you need from what I posted Manntis (the "R" for instance) :).

Manntis 12-14-02 12:25 PM

I dunno - I was going to put that on a light grey T-Shirt and have Danni model it so I could see what the logo looks like on a 3D surface...

faye x7 12-14-02 12:33 PM

Hey, that's pretty cool Manntis.

Pratch,

Can you send me this:
http://maz_tutorials.totalimmage.com/logo.jpg

Without the Mazspeed logo, in 1280x 1024 Resolution?

I like it for a wallpaper.
