I HAVE A 84 RX7 12A GSL WITH CARB. THAT WHEN I START UP . THE EXHUAST GET RED HOT AND IT BURN ALL THE GASKET AT THE CAT'S ONLY . I INSTALL NEW ONES
A WEEK IT'S BURN THEM AGAIN. I NEED HELP

So everything behind the cat is fine? if so then your cat is probably clogged. Time for a new one.

Kill the cat... get rid of it..

NO THEY ARE CLEAN OUT

You must be sure that both flanges are smooth and flat (I use a file) and that you tighten all the bolts in gradual moves so that the flanges on ALL the pieces come together squarely. Also you MUST use metalic gaskets (the expensive kind) NOT the paper ones. The exhaust on the 7 will just burn thru the paper ones shortly.

BUT WHY SOO HOT GLO RED I'LL GET METAL GASKET THANKS:o: :drool:

My guess is that it is running too rich and the excess gas is burning in the exhaust instead of the engine, assuming it is actually running TOO hot of course.
