My before and after.

Its just incredible what some paint and suspension can do for your car.
Painted door handles, rear view mirrors, front window frame and mazdaspeed spoiler wich i havent installed yet.
Made a whole in the hood painted and installed a 84 Turbo 300Z scoop.
Sanblasted the rims and got them painted silver, uncleared the rims lips to polish them.
RE-Speed coilovers and new adjustable shocks.

Looks hot man, I'm digging the new color on the wheels. Not so much the Z31 scoop, but hey, its your car and overall its sweet.

looks nice and clean :icon_tup:

I actually neaded the scoop, my supercharger agrees.

twinkletoes 02-19-09 10:14 PM

Looks excellent :icon_tup:. I like it better before though :).

SKarpenz 02-19-09 10:14 PM

Well then shit on my previous comment, as long as it isn't strictly for aesthetics. :D:icon_tup:

Super82 02-19-09 10:22 PM

Yeah, scoop is cool, especially since it is fuctional.

I dug your car before, and even moreso now. Rims look much better, and the paint looks real clean. I'd raise it up a bit though, looks like you're going for a low rider look with those rims tucked in so much. If your going to be that low try some spacers.

rotary84 02-19-09 10:27 PM

wow man, nice transformation. Im also digging the Z scoop do you feel any difference since putting that scoop in?

Couldnt really tell cause that same day i chaged the exhaust pipes from 1.5 to 2.5 straight through, difference yes their was a huge one but dont know if it was the exhaust or a combination of both, Ill be going to the dyno soon.

rotary84 02-20-09 12:53 AM

oo sweet man, Can I request a front pic :). I wanna see how the hood scoop looks when your looking at it face to face.

82seven 02-20-09 01:06 AM

good job!!! in my opinion I think it would look cool if it was the first pic and lower. I'm not a fan of all the red but this is your car... Big ups to you for keeping it tasteful.

SLIDN7 02-20-09 11:23 PM

Ill post a front pic soon, thanks for all the comments.

vipernicus42 02-20-09 11:34 PM

Underhood pics would be awesome. And I'm with the guys that say the scoop is cool, but *only* because it's functional!

Actually its the M1 speed wing, the one that looks like the TII one.
Still at the paint shop.

lx_machado 02-21-09 02:15 AM

Nice!!!

Considering how kooky some mods-beyond-stock can get, I give kudos to your restraint, esp since it was such a clean looker to begin with. Not my cup-o-tea, but tasteful nevertheless. Certainly will stand out in a row of Sunrise Red RX7s w/o going over the top ;)
well done-

SEVE CABRON SEVE CABRON,red is for the rx7's...soy de pr de que parte tu eres.

84stock 02-22-09 12:13 PM

The scoop doesn't do it for me, however, once you open the hood and realize it has a purpose of function my impression would immediately change for sure.

84stock 02-22-09 12:19 PM

BTW, love the color!

j9fd3s 02-22-09 12:40 PM

except the ride height, i like the before. i like the red/black contrast, that was hot...

84stock 02-22-09 02:54 PM

I don't care for the painted red window trim, like the blacked out emblem, ride height is awesome (did the racing beat springs on mine=sucked, too high!) and the silver rims look awesome! Get an underhood pic up to justify the scoop for everyone!

bad 83 02-22-09 03:59 PM

Good lookin ride, but the color matched trim around the windows.................I have to say I don't like. But it's your car, and it only matters what you like. +1 on some engine pics please! :D

+1

Looks great but I would have left it how it was and added the suspension package. Great car though!
