Where did you get the bolt on flares for the back??

dbragg 12-02-12 12:52 PM

Just curious, why do you have your camber plates oriented so they adjust caster instead?

seanrot 12-02-12 02:48 PM

^^^ I was curious why they were in sideways too

Mazda RX-7 EFINI TYPE 12-02-12 04:52 PM

Who makes the rear wing??

UniqueFc 12-02-12 05:26 PM

wow thats sounds mean i love it ive been thinking about a 13b PP i would like to know whats the set up behind that FB

Mazda RX-7 EFINI TYPE 12-02-12 11:23 PM

I'm assuming he uses the plates for caster & has adjustable LCAs for camber :)

Nice and clean, good looking as well but, it looks like you're using the crank angle sensor for the distributor. I wanted to do the same thing but the wiser denizens of this fine site pointed out some serious problems.
1) It doesn't have mechanical advance.
2) It doesn't have vacuum advance.
3) It has more points on the rotating magnet that the reluctor picks up.

As I was told, if you use the 2nd gen ECU, it will take care of these issues but since you're using a carb, are you using the 2nd gen ECU to control spark?

Advance is important. It affects throttle response, engine performance and if you didn't use the 2nd gen ECU so you had to advance the sensor far enough to get performance, that could lead to pinging which is bad in boingers as well as rotaries.

If you did use the ECU, how hard was it to install and did you need other parts beside the wiring harness or aftermarket connector to make it work? Or, did you use an aftermarket spark controller and if so, who made it and how much was it?
Have you used a timing light to see if you're getting proper advance?

I love how clean it is with the silicone hoses and a bare engine, it's quite striking. Will that Monte Carlo bar fit over an SE's injection manifold?

I love the braaaaap sound like you have it set up. I've heard some that were so loud it was annoying and I got weird looks from other drivers when I drove one and in California, it's probably an instant stop from the CHP if it's too loud.

Thanks every one is common

yes i choose to use max caster to improve camber gain on the corner

since i already get enought negative camber on my custom lower control arm

I design the spoiler bracket Laser cut it out of 6061 and Tig weld into rear bumper

i also made the rear fender flare by my self

you dont need any advance in some thing BP or PP you are making 100% or 200% more power

compare to Stock port

if you want response just lower your final drive ratio

I am runing Motec ecu
