Mustang wheels on an FB, fitment?

I've heard of people running Mustang wheels on FBs, the reason i'm asking is because i've access to 15" A.R.E. Mesh wheels for cheap, but they're the Mustang lug pattern of 4x108. I can see them fitting because the lug pattern is only off 2mm, but i'd like some positive clarification before buying them and finding they don't fit.

ehhh, not sure. i only hear of the later model mustang wheels being put on fc's

I wouldn't run 'em but thats just me too much of a chance for loosing a wheel. Could shear a wheel bolt as the stress will be applied for the side. The other possible issue lies in the balance of the whole wheel as it may ont center its self properly.

Anyone with actual testimonials...?

Losing a wheel isn't that big of a deal anyway, i've lost a few. :P

If you hit the search you will find a few people using them. You have to open the hole up a bit to get it to 4X110.

search for member "mortenf" he has 4x108 wheels on his car and uses "loose head bolts"

the ROH snypers are 4x108 and lots of people run them,go for it

It's only 1mm per hole. On the other hand, it's 1mm per hole from where it should be.
Most decent machine shops can elongate the holes enough to make them work with little risk of coming loose.
If the wheels in question use the long shank type of lugs, then elongating the lug holes will work fantastic. Cone seat lug holes require a little more effort to be truely safe. (in my opinion)

A bump from the dead, but they now offer swivel head lug bolts, it's meant to fit 5x114.3 wheels on 5x112 Audis. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3979950 I don't remember where to buy them, but i'm sure if someone's interested that guy would be willing to help.

And i was being sarcastic about the wheel falling off, that sucked when that happened.

Do NOT run 4x108mm on 4x110mm hubs. It is unsafe.

DAMN!! I wish those lug nuts where around when I was trying to find a way to fit my 5x112 Work Ewings onto my 5x114 hubs!! I HATED getting rid of those.

A lot of the Puerto Ricans in my area use the Mustang wheels. I haven't seen any in the ditch so far....
