MONZA Exhaust Headers...

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone have order a MONZA Exhaust Header from Black Dragon Automotive?

Reason I ask is I want to know what is the different between that header and Racing Beat header?

Also I notice the crome one have a hole on it and I was wondering if that for the Air to Fuel Ratio sensor?

Also dose all heater come like that or you have to oder it with it?

Thanks In Advance!

Monzas are a cheap knock off, I bought thier over axle and muffler piece for my 300ZX, It has sat for a year, the tips are rusting and the dual tips are welded on crooked. In a budget crunch, it will get you by. Haven't looked at thier 7 parts. If the header has an O2 bung and you don't need it, buy a plug to fill the hole. Don't plan on them lasting more than a few years.

You might Google for the Monza exhaust and find it cheaper else where.

i bought some headers for my 7 and the bolting was way off...so i sold it on ebay and bought some racing beat headers...trust me the racing beat headers is the smart thing to do

Yeah, Racing Beat. I was in a crunch at the time my gray '83 was still running because he muffler that was on it was rusted through, so I bought the Monza one. Now it is sitting rusted too. When it gets back up and running racing beat will be the answer.

Definately go with Racing Beat. The lengths of the pipes are matched compared to cheaper ones that aren't. Plus they use thicker walls that'll stand the test of time. You could search the 1st gen parts for sale forum...they pop up there now and again. E-bay is another option, although I've seen them more often on here. Or, you could order right from the racingbeat website. They also have headers in pre-welded packages that cuts the cost down. I managed to score a used RB header and presilencer last year for 150 Cdn...so the deals are out there.

What kind of headers should I buy from RacingBeat, I have a 6 port 13b with a 79 chassis. I got sort of confused with all the different options they have. (example: gsl-se 13 header, 4-port 13b header) Or would I have to buy one from the 2nd gen list that they have?

Here you go Orbital:

Disassembled Road Race Header Kit
13B engines
Part Number: 16212
Retail Price: $109.00

Road Race Header 84-92
RX-7 13B 6-Port
Part Number: 16127
Retail Price: $209.00

I guess that I should ask you what your engine came out of, but then I would be encouraging thread jacking. ;)

If you call them and tell 'em what you have they'll hook you up.

yeah... but I only spent 120 shipped on a NOS Rotary Engineering header

$600 is pretty steep for a true racing header

Site says 450$. I want to order new, but I have a couple other parts I want to buy at the same time also, so I may buy a used one.
