Mikuni 44 - will it be enough for a stockport S5 motor?

If jetted right could it be enough or not?

Probably but it would be at the limit, they can perform on a mild street port 12a and I think that would flow about the same as a stockport 13b 6 port. Check around for more informed answers though. Of course dual Mikunis would rock....and it has been done, the intake manifold is on eBay from time to time

It will do fine I think. Won't make max power, but definately a good amount of power still.

It'll give good idle, low end throttle response and midrange (if tuned right) but will lack on top end.

Yea its too small. A mildly street ported 12a is not equal to a 13b, 4 or 6 port.

What's it "equal to", and why?
