max temp that sensor reads?
ok well was in vancouver last night, coming home on the freeway, when i notice that the temperature was through the roof, long story short i had been driving for 25 minutes with no water, and my car overheated soo bad that the sensor didnt read how hot it was,
this morning i put water in and im almost posetive that ive got a broken water seal, because i cant top off the coolant without it overflowing like mad, just a note to anyone learn from others mistakes on this forum what had happened is a plug that i had been using to block the heater core hose blew out on the highway due to steam in the system and i lost all my coolant, and because my gauges are not lit properly i couldnt see the coolant level for some time, dont let it happen to you, now ive blown a perfectly good motor that had only 15000 km on a rebuild from mazda, due to the temperature being soo high for soo long, just a freindly warning to all you out there, dont ever ignore your add coolant light, |
I'm terribly sorry for your loss......Didn't the little buzzer go off?
