Manual antenna replacement?

Hey guys, does anyone sell any type of manual antenna replacement? Would a manual Miata antenna work?

I just picked up a universal one from the local parts store and installed it. It was one of the short rubber ones. If you want on that is extendable that looks stock you might have to look around a little more.

I picked one up at Autozone, a univeral that's small & black - it's worked excellent.

I bought a replacement antenna from radioshack but its automatic. I remember something about they weren't making anymore but they still had some left. If you don't mind having an automatic one you might want to look into that

I went to a local car stereo shop and ordered a fully manually retractable, black antenna for about $17. It works great.

I picked up an $8 one at advance auto parts that works well and looks good. Very easy to put in.

Here is what I did.

I always hated the power antenna on my Rx-7, I must have replaced the mast 5 times over the course 17 years.

So since I was planning on installing a 1 piece rear spoiler, and I did not like the antenna having to go thru the hole in the spoiler, I decided to relocate my radio antenna.

I installed a Acura style fuda antenna to the roof of the car. The roof is single wall where the rear washer nozzle would go. Of course you have to drill 1 hole and plug the other. To plug the hole I used a Hoffman electrical plug seal.

I was able to re-route the antenna coax from the orginal antenna location. Not only does it work great, since the mast is short it looks FRESH.
