Ok, point by point answers:

1: I use Castrol GTX 20-50 in the summer time and Esso WinterFlow 0-30 in the winter. (It can get to -40 Celsuis up here.)

2: There are no replacements for the distribtutor in stock form. Use the Mazda cap and rotors. You can install a MSD system for direct fire. The stock ignition coils are good, but the MSD Blaster's are a touch better. The Accel's you have now are just as good as the MSD's.

3: I use NGK wires on my car, but any good quality wire will work.

4: Use the cheapest gas possible in your normally aspirated rotary. Anything more is a waste.

5: Use REDLINE Synthetic oils in your transmission and differential. You will feel the difference.

6: A good exhaust eh? Racing Beat ;) Nothing else comes close in sound, durability or power gains than the RB system. It may be costly, but it will last forever. and give you 20% more power. Whatever you do, don't get a Monza system, evidently they can produce a power loss. Do a search of the forum and you'll see plenty of complaints concerning the Monza's.

7: Vacuum measurements? If you're talking about hose sizes, I really don't recall. I'll have to let another guy take a crack at that one.

You seem to be on the right track, so keep on the regular maintinence and you'll be fine.
