a little wiring help please

a short time ago I was given a 1985 GSL build date 12/84, it had set for 5 years or so before coming to me. I did the MMO trick and after a couple of days it turns freely now making little puffing sounds at removed sparkplug holes.
But wouldn't turn over with the key, so here we go:
the radiator has plumbing for an auto trans but has a manual in it, is this correct?
looking under the car the trans is not bolted to the cross member. Swap?
A green and yellow wire coming out of the bundle of wires going underneath has been extended and was attached to starter post (B) the one that connects the selanoid to the starter.
Two wires 0ne G&Y and one Y&G with female clips are just hanging.
A yellow and a red wire with male ends that come from a sensor near front of trans just hanging.
There are two wires one R&Y and one G&Y connected to a sensor with red and yellow wires near tailshaft. is this correct?
Lastly the starter motor is part # 36081 5417, is this the correct starter for a manual trans as opposed to an auto?
Thanking you all in advance, Mark

The radiator could have been an OEM replacement and they all have the extra cooling tubes
for an automatic, so you cant assume a swap just on that. Not being bolted to the cross
member is not good. You have to then wonder is it the right tranny support as they are different
from manual to auto. So maybe this is a poorly done swap. I cant comment on the wiring off the
top of my head but you can get the wiring diagrams here Foxed.ca and sort it out from
there.

Thank you I'll try that but I've never been taught to read schematics (stoo-ped) so if anyone else can chime in that would be great.
Thanks Mark
