whats the best supplier for the lightweight flywheel and what is involved in installing it 1985 gs 1979 s 12a engines and 85 gsl-se 13b

Well, you could go with JUN chromoly, but you'll probably have to go through a japanese vendor to get it. I'd recommend japanparts.com. Email them and ask what the cost is on one for a 12a and 13b. I got one for my z31 for around $350. Shipping is expensive, though. Around $80 for trackable to your door insured international shipping. Still, it was cheaper shipped than what an american vendor had it for, before shipping.
What's involved is alot. That is, if you're not comfortable around the engine. You'll have to replace both counterweights. Once it's done, though, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results.

Racing Beat or Centerforce with a flywheel stopping tool and about 289 to 362 ft-lbs of torque on the lock nut :D
