kosei k-1

hey, i was just wondering what they would look like on a first gen. I haven't seen many pics of them on the car. They don't seem like they "fit" with the car, but I don't know, maybe its just me. Also, my SA is white, would that clash with the color of the wheels? My other alternative are black wheels. What do you guys think? stock waffle wheels in crappy condition are going to be an eyesore when my car is painted

Thanks
Brendon

I didnt think they would look good until I saw them on a bmw 318, and concluded they could be stylish, at least on a red SA, Id buy them if I wasnt poor just cause there 7 inches wide, theyd fit my car and 15s are a good size.
just my opinion

I absolutly love the look of the Kosie K1's on the FB's I have seen only one other car in the idaho area that has then and he is a pretty good guy. But seriously if you have 4X110 and you need a really nice set of wheels you cant go wrong with the Kosie's they look incredable and the 15X7's sit so nice .... although I need to get some RB springs to bring the wheel gap down a little bit to give the car a little more of a stock ride hight. but they look awsome I wish I had a digital camera so I could take a couple of pics for ya sorry.

pic?

rbf41182gt 06-01-05 09:49 PM

what offset did you get?

and another thing, what about the center caps? i heard that you couldn't find any anywhere. How does it look without them?

for the record this is not my car, its another forum members... I have only heard good things about these rims... You can get them from thetirerack.com

Another thing to, they are supposed to almost exactly match the stock silver color...

thekyl 06-02-05 12:31 AM

I think it looks just fine without them just sand down your center caps on your hubs or the drum's on the back and paint them black or something it will look fine. Like I said I dont have a digital camera I wish I did though.

rbf41182gt 06-02-05 02:21 PM

i think they look pretty good.

now i just need some MONEY

lovintha7 06-02-05 04:03 PM

I've been planning on getting these for awhile now. They look sweet. And 14.1 lbs is pretty light for a rim of that price.

Hyper4mance2k 06-02-05 04:19 PM

damn that car looks awesome.

evil_motors 06-02-05 04:28 PM

yeah i am picking some of those up this summer

rotaryxperamental 06-02-05 05:47 PM

All I can say is wow. they look pretty damn good on that car.

thekyl, where is this car at I've always got my digital in my truck, if I can find it I'll snap a couple of pics.

KaiNalu 06-05-05 09:08 PM

Why can't they fit a gsl-se? Maybe I will swap over to my GSL suspension.

Here is another pic for you all to enjoy

Anything would look good on that silver car. I've seen some K1's on some cars, and it looked crappy. esp. at stock height, as the spokes are thin and don't fill up the space. I'd check out the ROH Snypers before you pick those Koseis up. The Kosei K1's are probably lighter, but the Snypers are really pretty.

Dan_s_young 06-05-05 11:52 PM

ya the snypers cost alot more too though

mcinnes 06-05-05 11:56 PM

they dont sell snypers in the 4x110 bolt pattern anymore,i sent them an email asking how much for a set, and they said they stopped making them in 4x110.

evil_motors 06-06-05 09:08 AM

i like the way the koseis look way better than the snypers..

Lol, I love how that guy just posts random pics of his bomb-ass 7 with 17's :P
We've seen your car lots man, they're just wheels!

Haha, just kidding dude; I'm not hating. The wheels are nice, just too modern for my tastes. Keep the car looking good though! :bigthumb:
