Could'nt agree more, the 1st gen forum is pure greatness. It should be about the love for these cars, and most importantly keeping them on the road!

Thanks to the First-Gen section, I was able to diagnos and fix my clutch slave cylinder in about an hour, not including getting parts. THis is probably the best place to be. I cna't think of any other fist-gen fourms as good as this one.

My daily surfing habits revolve around boucing back and forth between here and nopistons. I love tabbed browsing.

That's exactly it. They are so rare and special we all need to focus on keeping them running and keeping them in tact. The second and third gens are seemingly numerous compared to the first gens and those groups are more focused on being the sweetest and fastest. I think a lot has to do with they've got the bling while I think a lot of us have to pick and save and fabricate everything to keep ours running and gain performance.

I allmost agree, the FC does not suck at all. It handles better, newer(duh) and looks great, sure it's a heavy bloated whale but the steering makes up for it.

This section though is more helpfull, even to the repeated questions about the same thing three times a day.

well heres my say for the most likely youngest 1st gen owner at 15 years old. id have to say abour 85% of what i know right now is from the 1st gen section. everything from my first newb questions, to my "please help me fix this" questions, people here are very helpful. this section is deffinetly like a community and we all got to stick together and keep the 1st gen rx7's on the road. i know i will do my part by saving as many 1st gens in my life as possible. my appreciation and thanks goes out to all of you!

What I think is great is the more and more young people getting into first gens. With such a young age getting into the game that ensures there will be first gens still driving for a long time to come.
