just wondering because if it is my friend has some nice enkie's basket weave style/drifter. there nice and if they will fit it would look sweet!:D

I think they are like 4 x 108mm so they are very close. Some say they work and others say don't even try it because it's too dangerous. I'd love to know for sure as well!

I know people try them and drive around, but I don't know if I would risk it. It takes a few times to get it on there right because depending on how you tighten them they'll wobble a little. Too much of a risk for me

Some creative grinding and some hubcentric rings would take care of it.
I had a set of mustang 10 holes with 26*8 slicks on my car. The tires were to big, but I had them laying around to try. A drove close to home about 10 miles and didn't have any problems.
They acutally fit pretty decent. The lug spacing is a little different 108mm for the ford 110mm for the mazda, but the size of the ford lugs (.5" I beleive) is so much bigger than the mazda stuff that the mazda lugs fit, but just to the outside of the hole.
I wouldn't want to do it with the stock crap mazda lug bolts. Switch to some sturdy studs and I would drive on them no problem.

Ford Focus wheels have the same 4x110mm pattern too.

dont do it.... unless its for show and your not going to move....


cause i had two lugs in the stock rim... and one got ripped out of the rotor........ now if you had 4 and all of them were stressed..... a simple curb can make all the different..... dont do it, too risky.....

I'm fairly certain the 16" wheels do. I just did an Ebay search and here is an auction with the bolt pattern listed for the 15" wheels:

Just try them on your car first befor you buy them if you can. If the lugs won't go on straight, then they won't work, but if they do go on straight, then they are fine.

BTW, the focus rims have the wrong offset. Way too much for a first gen.

I can't believe what I'm hearing, what a BAD idea.

This is a massive risk. Wheel lugs can shear off surprisingly easily.

I used to change tires for a living, I had a set of rims for '85 F150, and I put them on my dad's Econoline 150 Van, same bolt pattern and all of that. I used the wheel nuts that came off the F150, and sure enough they turned out to be the wrong ones, and ended up shearing off a bunch of studs.

So there is an example of having the proper rim, but the wrong nut and it allmost ended in disaster.

So trying to make other rims fit is a very bad idea. Not only are you risking your life, but you are also risking the lives of the prople on the street around you when that wheel shears all of the lugs, and goes flying and seriously hurts of kills some one.

All of that just because you were willing to risk it to make your car "look good"
