Just to clarify

Just a quickie/comment:

Checked out my VIN plate tonight (been AGES since I did that).....

Model: SA22C. In america, that's the Rx7's from 1979 - 80 right?

and FB is from 81-85?

Just wondering why they didnt label it an FB... Mine was built in April 85.... must just be an aussie thing with the SA22C...hmmmm..

I know it's a S3, we alll do, just curious, I never noticed it until now.

PS: Rx7 going in for full body respray on Saturday (two days time) will post pics tomorrow of before - then in a few weeks after the spray.

I'm pretty sure the FB designation was only used in the States. Everywhere else they're SA's.

nearly right...
the rest of the world got the FB in 1980, but Oz did not and they kept the SA ... does anyone know why ?

Not after the thermal reactor is replaced with a header! :D

MikeLMR 01-30-03 03:27 PM

in the UK FB's have thermal reactors too :P:

mmmmmmm 130hp with just an exhaust change :)

Wankelguy 01-30-03 03:31 PM

If that is indeed true, then all I can say is

MikeLMR 01-30-03 03:37 PM

most exhaust manufacturers in the UK claim 15% icrease which is actually 132. somthing so I presume its true ?? its only a number anyhoo
