Jdm 1st Gen Rx7 Question

Somebody posted on the forum a place that sells hard to find jdm parts for the 1st 2nd and 3rd gen rotaries. I have been having a hard time finding that thread or post or reply.

Reason why I ask is because the website he mentioned sold steering wheels, hubs and the quick release for the first gen rx7. If anyone knows please send me a quick reply to my post.

Also will the fc steering wheel fit the first gen if so I could just buy the for the fc and place it on the my first gen any suggestions, or remarks just let me know. :wallbash:

Any RX-7 steering wheel should fit in any RX-7. Even up to the J-Spec Efini wheels. PM DaGOATCorrollaGTS, he can get you any JDM part you want

You know what Steve if you keep posting pics of your car you need to post some videos of it in action ;-) LOL

steve84GS TII 09-12-06 05:58 PM

Heh,I figure....who doesnt like photos?
I suck at typing and a picture is always welcome, unless you have a sh*tty computor!
Video,eh?....Ya'll really wanna see a video of me driving like a grandma?
Sorry,I dont have a video camera.... It may sound odd,but Im not a big fan of the whole high tech thing,I dont even have a cell phone!
This'll have to tide you over for now,heh,heh.....

Oh,and....sorry to hijack the thread!

FirebirdSlayer666 09-12-06 06:02 PM

Steve will truely be sorry when he actually posts a video LOL You have to know a friend with a video camera or something LOL. Yeah sorry for hijacking the thread Teddy. What exact JDM parts are you looking for?

Naegleria_Fowleri 09-12-06 07:56 PM

I'd like to know what jdm parts you are looking for as well. I don't see the allure of jdm parts, myself, but maybe I am missing something. To me the stock stuff here is plenty good enough.

steve84GS TII 09-12-06 10:24 PM

My question is......other than the 12AT.......,IS there even any desireable J-spec, 1st gen stuff to speak of?

FirebirdSlayer666 09-12-06 10:56 PM

Of course Steve. There's.................well....oh wait I got it what about.................well damn Steve you gotta point LOL

FirebirdSlayer666 09-12-06 11:01 PM

vipergts_3 09-12-06 11:05 PM

i dont know ,... it seems to be from japaneese versions but i have no idea how many were built and i cant seem to find but only a handfull of pictures ... i have the lid on my blue breather though kinda looks cool and nobody has ever seen it b4

FirebirdSlayer666 09-12-06 11:12 PM

I've never seen it before. Bastards couldn't send us the good looking air boxes LOL

steve84GS TII 09-13-06 12:01 AM

The 6 port 12A was the precurser to the GSL-SE 6 port. They werent much to write home about, and that aircleaner housing doesnt really look any different, except being black.....

FirebirdSlayer666 09-13-06 12:12 AM

Yeah but ours are a bright ass blue. I'd rather have black LOL. Plus that box has a longer intake hose to get some better air

steve84GS TII 09-13-06 12:16 AM

Here ya go,read this......

FirebirdSlayer666 09-13-06 12:27 AM

See the air cleaner is bad ass LOL

DriftFB 09-13-06 12:40 AM

I think the allure of JDM parts came from the Honda crowd, and how in some cases JDM was better factory performance. Many of their cars had the B series motor when ours had the less powerful D series.

vipergts_3 09-13-06 05:43 AM

oh dont forget about the "savannna rx-7" fender badges

j_tso 09-13-06 10:16 AM

^^ my car needs its name back

vipergts_3 09-13-06 03:29 PM

you must forgive my typo lol ...
i belive that there was a "savanna lsd" whatever that is but i know there werent many of those and they were 01-83 versions ...
fender mounted mirrors .
the back seat ...
what was the gt version ? that was the turbo wasnt it ???
