nick812 10-10-06 03:25 AM

Its not n SA in looks it has a body kit front bumper has been swaped out. Has a 1 peice sidedraft intake with a mikuni phh 44 carb. It has NO reserve.

It is an SA.Look at the taillights. The front end looks like it has something done to it,but the rear end is the give-away here.Trust me its a SA.

nick812 10-10-06 06:45 AM

It may be a SA but I am the only 1 with good pic and trust me the rear bumper and yes the tail lights are the only 2 things that really give it away. But with it being a JDM SA goes althe way to 83 in japan if i rember right. And buy the way I have a SA and FB myself. And no NO i wont trust you bc if your looking a the pics on ebey they eally dont do the car justice. I does need some work but those pics make it look like crap.

Yellow '79 10-10-06 07:27 AM

where could i get those mirrors that go on the fenders?

I never said anything about it not looking nice,or anything like that I was just mearly stating that it is indeed what we here in North America would call an SA.You can be angry with me all you want, and "NOT" trust me all you want,I was just simply stating that it had the taillights, and bumpers of a US spec SA.It could however have FB in its VIN for all I know(I am not really up on what the VIN's were for foreign markets),but it is what we in the US would call an SA car.I don't need better pics to appreciate its coolness,or for that matter what sort of shape it is in.I really think the car has lots of potential, and that is while I look at crappy ebay pics.It is not what we here in the US would call a FB,you CAN trust me on that.

find some 1 in japan A friend of mine might be going to japan on business and he is going to try to find some stuff for me like those and the badges.

dj55b 10-10-06 09:15 PM

that it not the original engine in there, the car is worht more than 1000$ due to the fact of the side draft carb, those wheels, and someone can finally buy it and sell those mirrors to Yellow '79 :P

Still small but there bigger in my emailmaybe some1 elese might be able to fix them?

trochoid 10-10-06 10:34 PM

Oh snap, they're still tiny. What did the seller do, buy a mini camera? lol. Thanks for posting the pics.

Definitely an SA.

Has a really funky shifter and wheels I have never seen. Did notice the lack of an fpr in the engine bay for the Mikuni.

nick812 10-10-06 10:35 PM

there are better pic on ebay now.

RE Matsuda 10-10-06 11:25 PM

Wheels look to be SSR Techno Phantoms, quite rare in any bolt pattern, let alone 4x110. Look like they're only 13's, but still valuable.

rotor vs. piston 10-10-06 11:38 PM

If it's JDM it's an SA no matter what year it is :-P

But yes without a doubt it is what we would call an SA... '78 - '80
