ISCracing

just wondering if anyone has any experience dealing with them, or has been to the shop in person, i just recently found out where the shop was located lol i have been looking at parts they sell online, never noticed that the actual shop was only a few miles from my front door, i plan to pay them a visit sometime this week :bigthumb: just thought i would get an impression of them from the rest of the rx-7 community, or atleast the people bored enough to reply to this

I just bought a front air dam from them and they delivered from Florida to NC in just a few days upon my call. I give them a thumbs up.

Good company. Their main business is supporting the SCCA racing crowd. I've had nothing but good experience with them. They even came through for me big time at a race weekend after Mazdatrix shipped me the wrong part. Got the correct master cylinder at the track for half the price of Mazdatrix. (they bring a semi full of parts to many events in the SE)

They are certainly reputable, although I think they are focused more on Spec Miata's now b/c that's the hot class at the moment.

i grew up around stock car racing on oval tracks around here in central florida, thats what im oing at the momment, but i do intend to get into scca stuff with, if not my current rx-7, a project car later once i find one :D thats why i plan to go visit ISC, because i know nothing about the scca scene, i dont even know where they hold scca events near enough for me to attend

I'd like to know whether their header is a direct replacement for the RB road race header.

I have no personal expereince with ISC but I have been reading that its a better design and less restricted than the RB ones.

Exhaust System

I bought and exhaust system from them.

FAST delivery.
GREAT craftsmanship, except they left obstructions in the collector (long metal burrs from the cut off wheel).
GREAT on the phone.

Bought a ISC spec 12a with streetport from them last year, ordered it in late September, and despite the intervention of 3 hurricanes hitting Florida after the order, the engine was received in late October. I'm extremely pleased so far, engine started on the first try with no hassles, and runs well. I haven't been able to drive the car due to other issues, but ISC Racing's motor has caused no problems. Mike is very pleasant to deal with and answers any questions you may have.

We have one of their headers on our race car. The fit and finish is amazing. truly a quality piece. Probably too loud for the street, but, still, very nice.

Mike and Tracy have come through for us big too, as previously mentioned, in helping us make race weekends.

They might be focused on SM now, but you'd never know it order parts from them. And Mike is quick to tell you if he thinks there's a better way to do something or help you with a competitors part.

I've ordered a few things from them. I currently have their quick relase steering wheel setup and their third link and panhard bar on my racecar and they are top notch products. As far as their header being an exact replacement for RB? Race stuff is race stuff. Especially when messing with exhausts, you had better plan on getting the header in place then fabbing the rest of the exhaust to fit. It was designed with the racing community in mind, and almost every racer that I know has a different idea of what the perfect system is. Presilencers, different mufflers, over or under the axle, etc.

Thumbs up on ISC though.

Cool, Mike and the people there are great. Go visit them, they'll show you around. Bring $ cause your gonna want to buy something. If your interested in the scca here drop me a line. Ive been out for a while but I can steer you in the right direction. Where do you do roundy rounds here? Ive crewed for my wifes dads Legend team when they come to town for the national races over in Bithlo. Hard work but a lot of fun.
