alrighty... i would like to convert the interior color from a burnt red brown shit color... to black or grey... does anyone know how much this costs? I want to replace everything... headliner, carpets, dash glove box... anyone do this before?

It depends on how you want to do it. You could probably change most of it using paint, maybe not the headliner - mine is a fabric, not the vinyl stuff used for the earlier years. Painting it is the cheapest way, and you can do it with some vinyl and plastic paint. Your next option is to find a wreck with a nice interior and gut it out. The probability that the interior of the wreck will be faded is high, but you can fix that easier than it is to change the whole interior. Finally, you can buy some of the interior parts new from Mazdatrix, but they are very expensive, IMO, but would give a 'like new look'. You can probably buy the rest, such as the carpet from an aftermarket place to match the color you want. Good luck with the project.

Plasticoat's Ultra Vinyl spray cans are awsome. (Make sure you get the Ultra version.) You can pick it up at any local auto parts store fairly cheap. Dries in seconds and lasts forever. :) Just make sure you follow the instructions. I'm just finishing up my '83 GSL from a red interior to a black and yellow interior. I just need to finish on of the doors.

For the carpet I would recommend Victoria British of MazdaTrix. Headlines are a bit tougher. I got lucky when I went to the junkyard and found some trim peices in a RX-7 with a black interior.
